Harut and Marut – The Fallen Angels

When It was self-evident to them at that time
They started chewing their hands in anger,
Could they “see” their fault? Never!
Ugly seeing its face in the mirror
Turns head away in blatant anger

A fire like hell starts burning within,

Whenever pride is called to protect religion.
Unable to detect profane Nefs inside,
Puts religious concerns on another side.
Nur, not fire kindles life all green in its loveliness.
Allah warned Harut and Marut: Maybe Thou art Angelic.
To look down upon sinners is absolutely prohibited.
Be thankful to My mercy! My soldiers and my servants
You can avoid lust – the terror in the earthen covenant.

If I may put that awareness unto you
The skies shall refuse to hold you.
All piety that is reflected in your manner
Is due to Divine protection granted to your gender
Beware! Regard piety, my noblest gift, will you?
The cursed Satan will be unable to overpower you.

The scribe to Hazrat Muhammad (saw) for Revelation
Felt in himself enlightenment and a source of wisdom
He assumed himself to belong to a sacred flock.
Though that voice was just an echo, not the bedrock
Even if anyone the language of birds doth talk
How can they know what’s going on in the heart?
You may learn to chirp like a nightingale;
Would you get to know: it tells flower which tale?
If you may guess, what do they talk about,
Truth shall be directly opposite, no doubt.
It shall be a plain self-assumption: thy mind seeks,
Like a deaf person who sees someone moving lips.
