Digi-Tal: Digital Taleem-o-Tarbiat is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and training individuals aspiring to pursue a career in teaching. It comprises international expertise in higher education, training, and business development. Its “Taleem” section offers a range of online courses, in-person workshops, and one-on-one mentoring for higher education teachers. The “Tarbiat” section focuses on informal education for the public, with a particular emphasis on Muslim youth. Digi-Tal operates with a global perspective and reach.
About Me
I, Dr. Seema Arif, am a Harvard Derek-Bok School of Education Alumnus and a Collaboration for Teacher Excellence & Research program fellow from George Mason University. I have worked in several management positions at leading private universities in Pakistan. I have vast teaching and research experience in organizational behavior, higher education teaching, and quality assurance. I am teamed with many local and international experts in the field.
Context
Muslim societies are facing a significant decline in the moral and ethical development required to uphold humanity’s core values. The youth, caught between the demands of modernity and their religious and cultural norms, often find themselves at a crossroads. There is an urgent need for intervention to guide our youth toward a path that balances progress with their values.
Higher education—rich in knowledge, skills, and values—is seen as the key to addressing these challenges. To achieve this, teacher, headteacher, and faculty training programs are being developed with cutting-edge content and innovative delivery methods. These programs emphasize the principles of lifelong learning, tolerance, patience, hard work, loyalty, and mutual respect.
A team of highly dedicated and professional experts is passionately working to bring this vision to life, empowering educators to inspire positive change and create a brighter future. It has arranged for:
Taleem (Education)
- Teaching higher education courses globally to Muslims specifically to Muslim Women. However, men can also participate.
Tarbiat (Self-Development)
- Authentic Sufi texts are published on the website. Sufism is legitimate means of self-improvement and behavior therapy
